Cultural programme organized in memory of slain DySP Aman Thakur | KNO

Kulgam, March 13 (KNO) : Jammu and Kashmir Police in memory of slain DySP Aman Kumar Thakur Wednesday organized a cultural programme at District Police Lines Kulgam in which students from the nearby areas participated. Besides, stationary items were also distributed among the Specially-abled students of the area. The programme started with inaugural address by Additional Superintendent of Police Kulgam Aijaz Ahmad-JKPS. In his address, he said that the aim of such programmes is to give youth a platform to explore their talent. Participants performed on a variety of songs. Dramas on several themes were also presented. At the conclusion of the programme, stationary items including bags and books were distributed among ninety specially abled students. CEO Kulgam Mushtaq Ahmad and Additional SP Kulgam Aijaz Ahmad-JKPS also distributed cash rewards and certificates among the participants. Among others DySP Hqrs, SDPO DH Pora, DySP PC Manzgam and other officers and jawans were also present on the occasion. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from DySP DAR Kulgam.(KNO)
